Whiteman Air Force Base Vehicle Maintenance Facility

Project included the construction of a 58,000 SF Vehicle Maintenance Facility at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, including the demolition of nine outdated structures, totaling 200,000 SF. This modernized facility consolidates multiple functions into a single, highly specialized space designed to support both general and special-purpose vehicle maintenance.

The new facility features a wide range of operational areas including a paint booth, body shop, welding and upholstery shops, wheel alignment bay, and high/low bay maintenance areas. It also includes dedicated space for the Vehicle Operations Element and supporting administrative areas with classrooms, open and private offices, and a breakroom.

Built with a reinforced concrete foundation and a mix of structural steel and pre-engineered metal systems, the facility features durable finishes such as split-face concrete masonry and a standing seam metal roof. Specialized infrastructure was also incorporated, including an overhead crane, vehicle lifts, a dynamometer, and integrated utility systems.

The project includes 175,000 SF of concrete pavement, a lift station pump system, and other site improvements. Anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) and physical security measures were seamlessly integrated throughout.
