Mahtomedi High School Renovation

The Mahtomedi district is a school district in Minnesota serving approximately 3,000 students in four schools. The project included programming and reconfiguration of the 200,000 sf high school with a student population of 1,200. This renovation includes creating a progressive “STEM” based environment, renovations to the athletic facilities, and education adequacy upgrades to standard classrooms.

LS Black Constructors completed the large scale renovation of the high school. The renovation included classrooms, gym, and STEM labs. Work was completed in two phases which spanned over two summers to minimize disruption to school operations. In many areas all surfaces were replaced, including the electrical/mechanical infrastructure.
