This full facility renovation included a remodel and extensive structural repair to the hangar and maintenance building. Delivered under a joint venture partnership with Loeffel Construction, the LSB+LC team designed and installed a new aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) deluge suppression system in the hanger bay and a quick response wet pipe system in the balance of the building. New telecom data systems were installed throughout the facility. Extensive exterior envelope repairs were performed, including a new standing roof system and replacement of the existing windows to comply with AT/FP standards. Overall, the project added 1,800 SF of space to the maintenance shop and office spaces. The reconfigured areas not only modernized the facility but also improved operational functionality to enable increased productivity, work-flow ,and collaboration.
