The waterproofing and plaza placement at Highland Pointe Condominiums presented a variety of challenges related to working in and around an occupied building with high pedestrian traffic. The project was completed in two phases to ensure that pedestrians were able to enter and exit the premises safely while we were performing the work. Weight limitations when operating over the existing structure required extensive planning and engineering to develop a plan that didn’t jeopardize the integrity of the structures. Work was executed using appropriately sized equipment, strategic staging of materials, and constant monitoring, which results in a successful completion with no incidents.
