Results and Client Outcomes

LS Black Constructors partnered with the University of Minnesota to renovate a 1,207 SF space in Moos Tower to support a first-of-its-kind MRI suite dedicated to dental imaging. This initiative, led by Siemens Healthineers, Dentsply Sirona, Aarhus University, and the University of Minnesota, aims to bring MRI technology, free of ionizing radiation, into routine dental diagnostics.

Our team provided materials and labor for the build-out, which included selective demolition, construction of support rooms, and infrastructure upgrades to accommodate the MAGNETOM Free.Max 0.55T MRI system. The suite is now able to support clinical trials focused on five key dental indications, including TMJ imaging, impacted third molars, orthodontic planning, endodontic and periodontal diagnoses.
