Results and Client Outcomes
Canvas Apartments is a 6-story, 280,000 SF mixed-use development in Minneapolis featuring 160 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes and 23,000 SF of production space. Construction began in November 2022 and was completed in Spring 2024.
This mission-driven project was developed with long-term affordability in mind. 100% of the residential units were designated as affordable for a minimum of 40 years, serving individuals and families earning between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Canvas also included five High-Priority Homeless units in partnership with Simpson Housing Services, along with 11 Project-Based Section 8 Vouchers through a partnership with the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority.
