This project consisted of major mechanical and electrical upgrades, including: removal and replacement of the existing mechanical systems, electrical connections, lighting systems, and acousticand gypboard ceilings. The new mechanical systems are geo-thermal loop systems that utilize solar panels for hydronic heating to maximize energy efficiencies. The new lighting system installed, uses energy efficient lights and state of the art controls. Additional electrical panels were also installed to accommodate the new mechanical equipment. The facility is now fully integrated with the solar panel system, geothermal system, and legacy boiler system for highly-efficient energy production. Work also included upgrades to the storm sewer and parking lot.
