MARKETING COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a creative, self-starter who is detail oriented to join our dynamic marketing team. The right candidate for the role will have Adobe Creative Suite experience, strong organizational and time management skills, and has a positive and charismatic approach. The position will report to the Marketing Director. Two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary role of the Marketing Coordinator includes the following essential functions:

  • Provides marketing support to pursuit teams to develop and produce high-quality, impactful proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral that follows client requirements
  • Makes continual improvements to the pursuit process
  • Works closely with the Marketing Director to implement strategic marketing campaigns in support of business goals to position LS Black in the marketplace
  • Coordinates, and attends when needed, external events, sponsorships, and tradeshows
  • Maintains project information in CRM (Cosential) and other company databases
  • Creates and maintains high-quality marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, posters and signage, value stories, white papers, etc.)
  • Responds to firm-wide requests and provides general support, including coordination of award submissions, promotional items, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Graphic Design or related field
  • Two years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling, proofing, conciseness, etc.)
  • Strong graphic design skills utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM systems (Cosential), preferred but not required
  • Self-starter with strong organization and time management skills
  • Completes high-quality work with a sense of urgency to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Works well under pressure with a positive attitude and a yes-mindset, while being outgoing and engaging
  • Possesses a sense of ownership with drive to produce a high-quality product
  • Proactive and effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across all levels within the organization
  • Photography and videography skills a plus
