This new 47,000 sf facility utilized a design-build delivery method and included the construction of a 200-member facility and a 2,000 sf stand- alone storage building. The project scope also included land clearing, paving, fencing, general site improvements, and utility tie-ins.

During the preconstruction phase, the design-build team worked together to find value-add enhancements that drastically reduced maintenance costs for the user while increasing durability of high traffic spaces and decreasing overall project costs. Design elements include polished concrete floors and energy efficient kitchen. Other sustainable features include skylights to take advantage of natural light and an expansive clerestory spaces to maximize user comfort. A photovoltaic system and components were incorporated into the facility to offset the energy consumption generated by the exterior lighting of the facility. Other sustainable features include interior and exterior LED light fixtures and elaborate electrical and mechanical controls.
